For nine years the studio focused primarily on Flash projects powered by our own PHP authored content management system. The desire for a more elegant toolset led us away from Flash and non framework oriented backend programming. We now specialize in the creation of lightweight html/css content managed projects and web sites that are built upon the
Ruby on Rails framework. This open source web app framework allows us to deliver stable and scalable products in less time.
The communicative power of online social networking informs many of our newer project's design as well. Working with our clients, we craft projects that utilize these networking tools to further a project's impact and goals.
Aside from developing custom projects from the ground up, we often work closely with a host of global agencies and firms in different freelance capacities. The web site we built for the painter Jerome Lagarrigue has been selected
to be included in the 2007 Web Design Index. The annual index, established
in 2000, has developed into one of the most important publications in its field.
We are honored to have ElliottGolden.com included in Taschen publishing's
book Taschen's 1000 Favorite Websites. This is a comprehensive
and inspiring book that chronicles the current state of cutting edge
global web design.
